Heylo in 2017: High Lights of the Year

2017 was the formative year for Heylo Cannabis and we're proud to share our story. Here's to the year's high lights, er, highlights.

Heylo wishes you and yours a warm, festive and bright holiday season.

From our small team to you and yours. Thank you for helping make our formative year a resounding success.

Here's to this Year and Next

It takes a village to raise a brand, and it takes a community to start a movement. We are excited by the growth of conscious cannabis consumption, engaged social use and transparency in production.

THE TIMELINE

In March 2017 the company was founded by Lo Friesen. Bringing her experience working in medicine and studying environmental chemistry, Lo opened shop in SODO, Seattle. Operating an Eden Labs Hi-Flo CO2 System, she began white label processing, while continuing to experiment and research cannabis extraction. In August 2017 Lo and her team launched Heylo to the public, reaching 12 retail stores across Washington State by November. In  the fall we also introduced Heylotion, a topical for muscle, joint and pain relief. This month we launched Heylo Sessions, a first of its kind music, art and cannabis education experience. Heylo Sessions went live on December 7th, 2017 with Alex Bonesteel performing the electric violin amid an experiential learning environment. The sold out crowd at the lab came alive with terpene tasting, cannabis education and live art.

NEXT YEAR

Next year Heylo Sessions will return on January 26th, scaling much bigger with new partnerships, a high-energy band and more opportunities to learn the science of cannabis. Stay tuned for more information on this special event - announcements to come before the end of the year!
